Instant Pot Chinese Steamed Eggs

Ingredients
- 3 [[large eggs]]
- 1/2 cup [[chicken broth]]
- 1/4 tsp [[salt]]
- 1/8 tsp [[white pepper]]
- 1 tsp [[sesame oil]]
- [[soy sauce]]
- [[green onions]]
Steps
- Lightly whisk eggs in a bowl. You want to break up the eggs but not create a lot of bubbles.
- Slowly stir in chicken broth, salt and white pepper. Stir until evenly combined.
- Pour egg mixture into a heat-proof bowl that will fit into your Instant Pot. I used a 6-inch diameter bowl.
- Cover the bowl with foil. This will prevent condensation from dripping onto the surface of the eggs.
- Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot. Carefully place the bowl onto a trivet and then gently lower the trivet into the Instant Pot.
- Cover and seal the Instant Pot. Cook on Manual HIGH pressure for 8 minutes. Allow a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
- Carefully remove the bowl from the Instant Pot. Remove foil. Drizzle with sesame oil and soy sauce. Garnish with chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
